The Fairgrounds of Fuengirola is a spacious area located in the heart of the city where various important events are held throughout the year. Significant celebrations such as the International Fair of the Peoples, the Fair of the Rosario, Fair of the Virgen del Carmen or the Fuengirola Street Market take place in this venue, which was inaugurated in 1984.
The Fairgrounds consist of three parallel, quite long streets with numerous booths equipped for fairs and events. Alongside the booths, there are extensive flat asphalt areas where rides are typically set up during fairs or various stalls in markets.

When there are no events, the fairgrounds are often an excellent place to park and leave the car when heading to the city center or the beach, which is a 5-minute walk from the venue. Additionally, it also has a lateral area with numerous parking spaces.
Finally, at the back of the fairgrounds is the “Palacio de la Paz”, a multi-purpose venue usually used for cultural activities such as conferences, exhibitions, or performances. In times of COVID, for example, it was used as one of the main vaccination points.
