The Miramar Shopping Center, commonly called “Miramar” by the citizens, is one of the most important shopping centers on the entire Costa del Sol. Located in the town of Fuengirola, about 30km from Malaga and Marbella, and 5 minutes from the beach, this center provides an ideal environment to spend the day, go shopping, or dine in one of its diverse restaurants. The center offers a wide variety of establishments and services, consisting of two main parts: the Miramar Shopping Center and the Miramar Commercial Park.
Miramar Shopping Center
The Miramar Shopping Center opened in 2004 and covers an area of 119,000 m2. This large commercial structure is the main part of Miramar and has become one of the city’s iconic landmarks over the years. With 170 high-quality commercial establishments, a variety of top-notch restaurants, and leisure areas for family or couple enjoyment, the Miramar Shopping Center stands out as a significant attraction in Fuengirola.
In addition to its diverse range of establishments, the center features Cinesur Miramar, offering 12 high-quality cinema screens, 2700 free parking spaces, a children’s play area, sports broadcasts on a giant screen, a nursing room, and a 10,000 m2 outdoor terrace.
Miramar Commercial Park
Miramar Commercial Park is an extension of Miramar Shopping Center and is located practically next to it (it takes 10 minutes to walk or 5 minutes by car). In contrast to the shopping center, this area is open-air and features a variety of stores such as Decathlon, Leroy Merlin, MediaMarkt, Kiabi, Kiwoko, Burger King, and a Carrefour gas station.
This commercial area also offers a spacious and free parking area, an English supermarket like Iceland, and an office building called Myramar S208.
Both parts are highly successful and are visited by millions of people throughout the year, especially Miramar Shopping Center, which has practically become one of the main symbols of Fuengirola and a reference in terms of entertainment and dining, thanks to the wide range of services it offers.
