International Fair of Nations 2026, renamed in 2022 as the “International Fair of Countries,” is one of the biggest events held in Fuengirola throughout the year. It is well known across much of Spain and even in Europe. This fair is expected to take place in 2026 from April 29th to May 3rd, serving as a meeting point for different countries and cultures from around the world. If you’re visiting our beloved city, attending the Fair of Countries is one of the best things to do in Fuengirola!
What is the Fair of Nations or International Fair of Countries?
If there’s one event I always recommend, it’s this one. The International Fair of Countries (the one we’ve known for years, and which many still call the Fair of Nations) is one of the most special events of the year in Fuengirola. For several days, the Fairground is filled with booths representing countries from all over the world, offering their traditional food, dances, music, and culture.
It’s like traveling the world without leaving Fuengirola. In a single afternoon, you can try an Argentine empanada, Thai curry, dance samba in Brazil, or enjoy a Cuban mojito while watching a mariachi show—all in a festive, family-friendly, and colorful atmosphere.
This fair was first held in 1994, starting with the participation of just 8 countries. Over the years, it has gained such popularity that today it features more than 30 different nationalities and attracts thousands of visitors at each edition.

When is the Fair of Nations Fuengirola 2026?
The official dates for the 2026 edition have not yet been confirmed, but everything suggests it will be held from April 29 to May 3. As soon as the City Council makes an official announcement, we’ll update this information with the exact days and times.
What I can guarantee is that, whenever it takes place, you’re going to have a fantastic time. This is one of those fairs that appeals to everyone—adults, young people, children… and especially to first-time visitors.
Fair Booths – Fuengirola 2026
Each year, more than 30 countries take part, and it’s truly impressive to see the effort they put into creating their booths in full detail—from the decorations to the menus, including traditional costumes and performances.
Countries that usually return every year include: Argentina, Mexico, Cuba, Brazil, Morocco, India, Japan, Greece, Germany, Italy, Venezuela, Colombia, Uruguay, Bolivia, the United States, Ireland, Thailand, Chile, and the Dominican Republic. As soon as the 2026 participant list is published, we’ll add them here one by one.

The fairground is organized by streets, and each booth is assigned a specific space. So if you’re looking for a particular one (I certainly have my favorites), it’s helpful to have the map on hand. Once the official map for the 2026 Fair of Countries is published, we’ll upload it here so you can view and download it.
Activity Program – Fair of Nations Fuengirola 2026
In addition to eating and drinking, the fair offers plenty of activities: live performances, traditional dances, cultural exhibitions, workshops for kids, parades, and much more. There are usually shows happening all day, both at the booths and on the main stages.

How to Get to the Fair of Nations Fuengirola
The Fair of Nations is held at the Fuengirola fairground, located right in the city center. There are several options to get there:
- By Car: It’s easy to reach the Fuengirola fairground by car from anywhere. The downside is parking—since the fair is downtown and draws large crowds, it’s very difficult to find parking nearby. If you decide to drive, unless you’re lucky to find a free spot, you’ll probably have to park quite far and walk. Another option is to use a paid underground parking lot, of which there are several in the city, though of course this is more expensive.
- By Taxi or Uber: Another option is to arrive by taxi or Uber, both of which can drop you off right at the main entrance of the fairground.
- By Bus: Taking the bus to the Fair of Nations is a very good option. During this period, new lines are added, and the frequency of service increases. In fact, the City Council encourages everyone to use this mode of transport (the bus drops you off at the entrance to the fairground) to help reduce traffic in the city and lower car-related CO2 emissions.
- By Train: You can also take the RENFE Cercanías train from any municipality in the Málaga direction. You’ll need to get off at the Los Boliches station and walk about 10 minutes to the fairground.
