I was born here, I grew up here, and every year I celebrate—just as excited as ever—one of the most special weeks on the calendar: the Feria de la Virgen del Rosario. Alongside the Fair of the Countries and the Fair of Los Boliches, it’s one of the most important and beloved festivals in our town.
The fair isn’t just a party—it’s a tradition that’s part of who we are. For a whole week, the streets fill with joy, flamenco dresses, horses and pure Andalusian flair. And believe me, there’s nothing like experiencing it from the inside.
Feria de la Virgen del Rosario de Fuengirola 2025 Schedule
We don’t yet have the official program for the Fuengirola Fair 2025, but as soon as it’s published, we’ll post all the details here: concerts, activities, schedules, and the top events.
What I can already tell you is that the fair’s classics won’t be missing: live music, equestrian shows, kids’ activities, the seniors’ day, performances at the municipal caseta… and of course, the procession on October 7, the most emotional moment of the entire fair.
When is the Feria de la Virgen del Rosario 2025?
Monday, October 6
- 9:30 PM: Opening speech of the fair at Palacio de la Paz, delivered by Edgard Caro Casado, also known as “Sensillo con S”.
- After the speech, the decorative lights on the main façade of the Palacio de la Paz will be switched on to officially kick off the fair.
Tuesday, October 7
- 10:00 AM: Flamenco Mass at Plaza de la Constitución.
- Followed by a procession of Our Lady of the Crowned Rosary, accompanied by:
- Music Band of Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno from Almogía
- Fuengirola Municipal Music Band
- Route: Plaza de la Constitución → Avda. Condes de San Isidro → Marconi St. → Palangreros St. → Larga St. → España St. → Plaza de la Constitución → back to the church.
- 10:00 PM: 47th Flamenco Festival at Palacio de la Paz:
- Singers: María Toledo, Rafael de Utrera, Juan Ramos
- Guitarists: Luismi Manzano, Carlos Haro, Diego Morilla
- Dancer: Flamenco group led by Gema Moneo
- Tickets: €10 (seated floor) / €15 (seated boxes)
Wednesday, October 8 – Children’s Day
- All day long, kids’ rides will be 50% off.
- 6:00 PM: Children’s show featuring Pica Pica at Palacio de la Paz.
- Tickets: €5 (floor, no chairs) / €10 (seated boxes)
Thursday, October 9
- 10:00 PM: Performance by Mujers por Sevillanas at Palacio de la Paz.
- Tickets: €10 (seated floor) / €15 (seated boxes)
Friday, October 10
- 10:00 PM: Comedy Night at Palacio de la Paz, with performances by:
- Diego Arjona
- Álex O’Dogherty
- Chirigota “Los Calaítas”

Saturday, October 11
- 10:00 PM: Comedy performance by Café Quijano at Palacio de la Paz.

Sunday, October 12
- 11:00 AM: Mass in honor of the Virgin of the Pillar on María Josefa Larrucea Street.
- 10:00 PM: Youth Night at Palacio de la Paz with live shows by:
- Spok Sponha
- Space Surimi

Where does the Feria de la Virgen del Rosario take place?
The beauty of this fair is that it’s lived in two completely different atmospheres. During the day, the town center of Fuengirola turns into a true Andalusian fair: peñas, horses, flamenco, music, and plenty of festive spirit.
At night, the Fairground comes alive with lights, rides, food and drink casetas for every taste, and an unbeatable party vibe. If you come, I really recommend you enjoy both sides: the day for the more traditional feel, and the night for non-stop fun.
What to do at the Feria de Fuengirola 2025
Here are a few things I never miss each year:
- Watching the horse parade through the town center
- Eating some fried fish or a good plate of jamón at a peña
- Dancing a sevillana even if you don’t know how (everyone joins in!)
- Sipping a cold rebujito at night in a caseta
- Taking the kids to the rides or a family-friendly show
Tips to enjoy the Feria to the fullest
- Come early in the morning if you want to see the horses and soak in the most authentic atmosphere
- Avoid driving if you can—parking is tough, especially at night
- If you feel like it, wear a flamenco dress or a small Andalusian accessory. Everyone’s welcome, but dressing up adds to the experience
- October 7 is the most special day, so if you can only come for one day, make it that one
A fair that feels like home
The Feria del Rosario isn’t something you explain—it’s something you feel. It’s a mix of tradition, joy, reunions, and town pride that only comes once a year. And if you decide to come, I promise you’ll remember it with a smile.
